Write for us
We welcome pitches that help readers see rural comedy with fresh eyes: a comic form, a storytelling choice, a character tradition or the way a particular kind of place shapes a scene.
What makes a good pitch
Send a short proposal that names the subject, the central idea and why it suits Rural Comedy Review. Tell us what the reader will understand or notice by the end, and mention the material or examples you expect to draw on. A focused subject is more useful than a broad promise to cover rural humour as a whole.
What we are looking for
We are interested in clear, original writing that treats rural settings and their people with care. Useful pitches may explain how a comic form works, compare distinct storytelling choices, trace a tradition or examine the role of place in a joke. We do not need a finished draft with an initial proposal.
How to send a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include your proposed title or subject, a concise outline and any relevant context about your approach. A proposal is not a promise of publication; we will consider its fit and clarity.
